Class 2-3

Experience the excitement and adrenalin surging of white water rafting adventure on the Balsa San Carlos river, class 2/3 rapids.

After meeting at Lands in Love lobby you will drive for 7 minutes to the river where the fun begins! Your guides will explain safety procedures and equipment before embarking down the river. Enjoy 2 exhilarating hours of white water action on this beautiful tropical river.

This unique river trip combines nature, adventure and wildlife. You will see monkeys, sloths and tropical birds.

Class 4

Experience a higher level of adrenaline in La Balsa river class 4.  This section located in Lands in love property in which you will experience seven class 4 rapids led by the experienced guides. This section is one of the most exciting rafting sections in Costa Rica. Rafters must be 12 years old to participate in this trip.

Class 5 (upper Balsa River)

A challenging descent into a lush cloud forest canyon which will stimulate your glands. The upper Balsa river is a stretch which is considered to be one of the most adventurous and challenging rapids in Costa Rica. You will be accompanied by expert river guides and safety kayakers. There will be two breaks from the heart pounding rapids to refuel. The first stop will be at one of the seven dramatic waterfalls along the way, where you will enjoy nature’s bounty in the form of fresh fruits. Strong physical condition and a true urge for adventure are required. Rafters must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this trip.
